Reason why I wanted to become a yoga teacher is very simple – I just want to know so much about yoga and you just can’t get all this knowledge on regular yoga classes so becoming a yoga teacher was a natural decision for me. I did my first teacher training couple of years ago – I had no other choice, really. After years of living in Zagreb and one year of doing yoga, I had to go back to my home town in Eastern Croatia (I found a job there). The problem was – there was no yoga studio there and I was already hooked on yoga. I had only one choice – I had to do a yoga teacher training in Zagreb (in a period of year and a half, one intensive weekend every month; that was for me the only way I could have teacher supervising me).
But, once yoga takes you, there is no coming back, so I really wanted more and more knowledge. And in that moment in my life – the information about qi yo yoga teacher training came into my life. The timing was great – I was a little bit worn out from my everyday job and teaching yoga at the same time, so I even stopped teaching yoga and was desperately in search for some inspiration.
The moment I read the Qi Yo Multiversal Yoga curriculum, I was very enthusiastic to participate in the training program since there are so many aspects of yoga and spirituality I’m keen on. But most of all, I especially liked the part of connection through global esoteric heritage of the world and practicing Eastern, but also Western spiritual practices. Yoga has been so beneficiary in my life so far, helping me, not just improve my health, but healing me, mentally, emotionally and physically. I find the experience of participating in the Qi Yo program essential for developing myself professionally, but also spiritually”.
