Practice OBSERVATION. Be consciously awake and observe each moment. For example, when you are doing a routine task at your job, just stop for a second, and start OBSERVING with watchful awareness everything around you and inside of you. Try to see how the world moves and how you are reacting to it. Observe the actions as they happen. Then you will suddenly feel liberated. You will see the body performing the actions automatically, but You will no longer be part of this routine. Try this while you are walking, eating, riding the train, or even when you are doing your asana practice. Then you will suddenly discover that NOTHING is ever the same, everything is always different and changing, It is our mind’s blindness that creates the “frame” that makes us struggle and oppose the daily flow. As a witness, as an observer, you will start noticing your Ego and its tricks, traps, and patterns of behavior.
By seeing the blueprint of your own being, you will instantly become liberated! Then spontaneous states of laughter and dance will follow. Life will become full of joy, no matter the daily actions or circumstances.
At that point, you will arrive at the level of consciousness where you can initiate your own Free Will and DESIGN your own karma. Once you see and realize the frames and the mechanics on your being and its relationship with the common flow of things, you become a free-willing independent entity exhibiting CLEAR vision. How to start Today? Gather faith, surrender to your heart, be patient and practice observation.
