The name of this instrument translates to “Infinite Strings” and comes from its large number of strings (from 22 to 64). Most of the strings are tuned to a single pitch, which allows the full play of natural harmonics and richness of sound to unfold.
Anantar – Big. The big string resonator is tuned to the male singing pitch of C.
Anantar – Big, 2-sided. This instrument is the complete model, which offers manifold creative expression.
Anantar – Medium. This instrument is tuned to E in the medium variant. It is especially geared for playing with children.
Anantar – Small. This instrument is the female counterpart to the Anantar – Big. It is tuned to G.
