Day 1: Friday 25th July
Evening Session – 6pm to 9pm
The workshop will begin with a brief introduction about the philosophy and methods of Qi Yo Multiversal yoga. Swami Agung and Ariadne will present the essence of MULTIVERSAL yoga. Vibrational Attunement and Pranayama session will then follow. The evening will end with an overview of the concept of meditation and various techniques inherent to different esoteric paths.
Day 2: Saturday 26th July
Morning Session 9am – 12.00
The morning will begin with the Qi Yo Core Class: www.qiyoyoga.org/core-class. The Qi-Yo signature class draws upon Balinese, Chinese and Indian yoga traditions and is a blend of traditional Indian Yoga, Qi Gong, body mind centering and ancient Balinese healing tools. The class opens with a brief alignment-visualization exercise intended to bring the focus inwards into the subtle sheaths of the body. A soothing “pranayama” (breath-extension) exercise follows, enabling purification of the nerve channels, opening the meridians and shifting focus from the physical to the energetic body. The practice unfolds into a flow based Qi form sequence of postures integrating rhythmic breathing with conscious movement. The asana routine that follows enhances glandular stimulation, promotes flexibility and reduces stress. A combined chanting and meditation closes the session allowing each practitioner to unleash the body’s wisdom, awakening subtle awareness, balance and inner peace.
Afternoon Session 1.30pm – 5pm
The afternoon session will begin with a talk on the universal energy of Chi and Prana and how they connect to the Chakras and subtle energy channels, Meridians and Nadis. The function an dlocation of the Bandas will be explained and how to apply them in Pranayama and Hatha Yoga practice. The session will then blossom into a group energy practice, harnessing and sharing universal Chi and Prana. We will end the day with a Chakra meditation, chanting the Biju ‘seed’ Mantras together, connecting us to the 7 energy centres.
Day 3: Sunday July 27th
Morning Session 9am – 12.00 noon
Beginning the day with the QiYo Core class. Playing and experimenting with Vibrational Sound Healing using a variety of instruments http://www.qiyoyoga.org/vibrational-therapy Vibrational cleansing is known to awaken immediate insight whilst filtering impurities from the subtle body, activating meridian points and promoting better circulation and enhanced energy flow.
Afternoon Session 1.30pm – 5pm
Talk by Agung and Ariadne on the Science on Antahkarana and the seven bodies and stages of modality of consciousness.
This will be followed with Vinysa Asana Flow workshop offering alternatives to the core session, applying Bandas, Mudras and Pranayama breathing, each working to their capacity.
We will finish the day with a question and answer and sharing session.
All levels are welcome, regardless of fitness or ability. Also offered are private sessions where together we can go deeper into the exercises and cater to individual needs.
Yoga is better practised on an empty stomach. We suggest you have a light breakfast one and a half hour before starting practice and a light snack at lunch time. Try to plan your main meal for after the workshop.
